GoT 8.4 thoughts/feelings (SPOILERS).
 

• TBH, I’m really sad that Yara doesn’t get to say goodbye to her little brother :( At least Sansa gets to say goodbye. (I get why, of course, but I’m still sad.)
•  Is someone even gonna tell Yara her brother is dead? Are we gonna get to see it? (Yea, right, I wish.)
•  Because I’m big on the whole “Theon is a Greyjoy, damn it” thing, the wolf pin would annoy me if it was just a random Stark pin. But the fact that Sansa takes it off her own cloak makes it really sweet and gives it the significance of representing their personal bond. She takes off a meaningful token from herself and buries it with him so that a tiny part of her will always be with Theon. It’s very sweet.
•  Ah. I bet this will make the Sansan shippers happy.
•  Aww. Gendry proposing, he’s so cute. Arya saying no was kind of predictable tbh. Though, damn girl, you can be married and still not act all ladylike. Clearly, Gendry loves you as you are – you haven’t been a lady for 1 second since the two of you met.
•  Daenerys isn’t wrong about how people will likely react to finding out about Jon but it’s like…does she really expect Jon to keep something that important from his family? That’s not very healthy.
•  Sansa, Arya, I know you guys have reasons to not trust people, but Jon’s right that you’re taking it a BIT took far.
•  Jaime and Tyrion are so cute together, damn. I want more scenes of them being brothers together. (I feel like I care about the sibling relationships in this show way more than any romantic ones.)
•  “I believe in her.” But do you, Tyrion? Do you really?
•  Agh. Tyrion, turn on your brain, please.
•  Sad about Missandei :( Poor Grey Worm.
•  The NOTP is canon. *sigh* Well, it’s expected. At least, it’s a well-written relationship arch and it’s a healthy relationship that was based on something other than sex first. I appreciate those on an intellectual level. I think when I was first reading their interactions in the books I was like, oh, this is kinda shippable. It’s just the actors have like ZERO chemistry. (And, tbh, we need more strong and meaningful platonic m/f relationships in media. Though I see why Brienne’s arch would be well-served by a romance.)
•  Haa, Jaime you little shit staying in Winterfell. (Until you decided not to lol.) You’re done with Cersei’s shit (understandable) but can’t bring yourself to go and actively fight against her (of course you can’t).
•  I don’t really see why people are freaking out so much. It’s pretty obvious that he’s gone to put an end to Cersei. (IDK if he’s quite accepted the fact that that means killing her just yet, but either way, he knows she has to go. He’s known that for a while now and it’s just been taking him time to accept that and get used to that idea. He’s not just gonna stop loving her in 3 seconds, please. Not after how intense that relationship was.) From here, it’s two things: either Jaime dies with Cersei somehow after killing her (not unlikely) or he gets out alive and him killing Cersei is the final move to exorcise her and his relationship with her from his life. To give himself the chance to move on from that. Like, regardless of Brienne, he’s been on that road for a while now. Cersei has been lost to him for a while now – she’s crossed too many lines even as Jaime was moving away in a very different direction. IDK what the Jaime and Bienne happily ever after is supposed to look like. I can’t see either of them going all domestic and shit. I can’t really see Jaime inheriting the Rock. That’s more likely to be Tyrion, if he lives (I think it’s likely he will. God, I hope so.). But I actually don’t see Jaime wanting to hang around the Rock much anyway. It would be too intense of a reminder of Cersei and his entire past life which would be too painful for him, I’d bet, for all kinds of reasons. Maybe they go to Winterfell and are part of Sansa’s guard? Feels like a kind of weird end for Jaime, though, if not for Brienne. So IDK. (And I actually don’t think Brienne will die. If Jaime lives, they’ll probably end doing something together.)
